See - information science can be cool!
I’m pretty much just screaming at this over and over for being so cute. If I held one of these, I would end up killing it with too much love.
New born polar bear *-*
!
cannot even
Are you fucking kidding me.
I would like to order one of these please. I will set it free when it’s too big for my pocket. KTHX.
I can’t even handle how adorable this is.
cannot comprehend the cuteness.
I ordered this online after spending far too long in Waterstones reading it. I’m not a pervert, it’s just really interesting. Like, anthropologically or something!
I haven’t read any Will Eisner, but I’m sure this exciting pop-up book is somewhere good to start? I can also convince myself that it’s relevant to my masters because I might be doing a dissertation on non-textual features of books.
And this because it was also on sale and I liked the style.
I have also never read any Eisner. He is mentioned in Scott McCloud’s “Understanding comics”, which I thought was pretty rubs because I’m a snob. JUST USE JAUSS
Have you read Charles Burns’ “Black Hole”? That is such a joy to read, as the artwork is like an oil slick: clean, murky, destructive? JUST GOOD
I have not read any new comics recently :’( I spent part of this evening educating some Kiwis about comedy. Yes!
Like, TV comedy? Because New Zealand TV is a hilarious joke due to them just importing all tha bad everything from other countries. It’s like watching UK GOLD alllll the time. It’s because they’re always out doing sport and being mental rather than sitting indoors watching TV. Apart from the ex-pats.
I have wanted to get Black Hole for like, FOREVER. But it’s always at least a tenner. If it ever goes to £9.99 it’s mine.
I have a big meaty parcel to send you but I need to work out if I can actually afford to post it. I have no idea how it ended up so heavy.
